OUR
STORY
Permanent Jewelry. Permanent smiles.
Mixed Metals was built from a love of jewelry, creativity, and meaningful connection.
With a carefully curated selection of chains and charms, every piece is customized to reflect your style and tell your story.
Whether you're sitting down for a one-on-one appointment or celebrating at a group event, the goal is always the same: to create an experience that feels special, personal, and a little bit magical.
At Mixed Metals, it’s about more than jewelry. It’s about helping you put together a piece that feels uniquely yours — something you’ll love wearing every day.
We believe great jewelry should feel effortless, personal, and made to last.
We can’t wait to help you find the perfect piece.

What is permanent jewelry?
It's a custom fit chain that's welded together instead of using a clasp. That tiny "zap" makes it "permanent" because it doesn't come off every day like regular jewelry.

How "permanent" is it really?
Permanent just means clasp-free and meant for every day wear. If you ever need to remove it, you can snip it at home with scissors or wire cutters.
Does it hurt?
Nope! The welder never touches your skin. You'll just see a quick flash of light and then -bam!- you've got your forever sparkle.

Will my jewelry tarnish?
We only use .925 sterling silver and 14k gold-filled chains from ethically-sourced wholesalers. Sterling silver may naturally patina over time, but is easy to polish back to shine, and gold-filled has a thick layer of gold that will not rub off like plating.

How long does it last?
The chain itself lasts just like any fine jewelry. Many people keep theirs on for years! If it ever breaks, we can usually repair is (as long as the chain is saved.)

What if it breaks?
Don't panic! Chains are dainty and designed to break under pressure for safety (like if it is caught on something). Save your chain, and I can usually re-weld it for you.
Can I go through airport security?
Yes! It is TSA-friendly. You won't need to take it off when traveling.

What if I need to remove it for medical reasons?
Totally fine. You can snip it off before your appointment or procedures and I can re-weld it back on after.
If it's removed for anything other than medical reasons, additional charges may occur.
